The Heat wanted him to sign for 10 mill this year and they would max him out next year (to make up for it). Wade felt disrespected because he thought he should be the priority in Free agency. Not WhiteSide or Durant
When they failed on Durant they offered for 2/40 but I think Wade pride had already been hurt and he had to make the heat "pay" because he couldn't look like he was pulling all these stunts for nothing.
The Heat did not do wrong by Wade at all. When you are building a team with the future always in mind, Wade can't be the primary focus. The Past is the past.
Now, The Bulls did this to sale tickets because Im sure they got a negative response on season tickets and buzz after the Rose Trade.
I rather be the Heat going for than the Bulls.
And Wade did this off of principle, not to win just, so thats stupid.
