Dwight was getting a complete pass for his poor play because of him coming back from injuries.......Till the rest of the team started putting him on blast for not playing hard. When Nash aired him out that he was officially suspect. Then he tried sitting out a games with an injury he could have been playing through.

Dwight is a dude who doesn't love basketball, he just loves what basketball affords him (money, bytches, fame, etc.). That is why he's not improved his game and lives solely off his god-given ability. As long as clown GM are willing to offer him a max deal with zero post game, he won't work on his game.

Guys like Kobe, LeBron, and Rose, they actually love the game for itself not because of what it provides them. Its why every summer they improve and bring something new to the table.

Dude simply doesn't want it enough, he wants to be a star, but not necessarily in basketball. Its been said many times, mostly by LakeSet members () but its the truth this guy thinks he's Hakeem in the post when he ain't even STAT and he can't make free throws. Plenty teams played Hack-a-Howard when he was with us and it worked. There was maybe one game where he hit something like 8/10. He wants to be able to close games but doesn't realize he's a liability and when you tell him he takes the night off. When he gets the ball in the paint its only of a couple things happening. He scores, which is least likely to happen so really its he gets the ball ripped or he goes to the line and bricks shots.

Honestly, I think the way Dwight is interpreting his game is all wrong.

The way I see it, he's looking at the criticism he's receiving and saying, "I drop 20 a game, grab 10 a night, what else do you want me to do? I give effort. Its not my fault we lose."

You can tell the greats took every hit at their game personally. I think Dwight looks at having that cut throat tenacity to your game as a tragic hero complex that affects players off court.

I'm pretty sure he wants to win. I'm just not sure he wants to win at all cost.
