You guys are fukking idiots. As if he is supposed to live being around a primadona simply because you homos are sexually attracted to Kobe. Newsflash, not everyone respects Kobe's bytchy personna like you clowns. I'm sure Lebrons teammate enjoy a far more jovial environment and yet they're 2 time champs. Kobe has shown himself to be a pretentious bytch despite all his achievements. He needs to get over himself. I for one applaud Dwight for making the right move and calling Houston home. His NBA awards cabinet, and his pocket books will thank him later.

These reports about what Dwight or his camp did or didn't want are also speculative.

What Im saying is that if winning was all that mattered, Kobe would be sticking up for Shaq and wanting him to stay even when Shaq was shytting on him. Instead, it got to a point where they had to choose one or the other and I didnt see any indication that either one minded losing their best teammate.
everything Kobe said about Shaq was in regards to Shaq's lazy play on the court and coming in camp out of shape. He felt like it wad a detriment to the team.

this nikka said "were not tryna hit a home run this year" "I'm a winner cuz i been in the league 10 years" "im a winner because i succeeded at life"

I watched they shyt earlier today. He's moving the goal post on his expectations and that's hard for me to accept because of the shyt he talked about those guys in Orlando. If he wants to be respected, he needs to win championships. Period

Whats the big deal here?

Is it not known that HOBE is a fakkit ass teammate? Look, MJ would get in nikkaz shyt to keep them focused. He had a way of doing things and it always worked out.
When he came back to the league via the Wizards? He wasn't as demanding. He still had the same fire, but he was more of a teacher than a General.

Kobe emulated his entire game after MJ and that includes how serious he got with his teammates. The problem is nobody has the same respect for Hobe as they did MJ and they never will. Let me show you things Hobe has done, that MJ NEVER DID...

D.Howard had to be restrained because he was about to end Kobes life
Kobe Bryant & Dwight Howard Feuding: Teammates Had to Hold Howard Back in the Locker Room, Report Says | The Big Lead

But I'd rather have videos of how much of a HOE Hobe can be...
We all can agree without Phil Jackson, Kobe would be a nobody in the scheme of "All-time greats"

But you know what, instead of posting videos we all seen of him not dapping his teammates even if they standing in front of him waiting
To the way he bytched Sasha like every other night
All that can be looked at however. But nobody talks bad about Jordan now or ever when you interview all his former teammates. Kobe tho? There's a long line
And Smush, listen to him in this interview. Then tell me thats not what we all see today :childplease:

Best thing Dwight ever did was leave L.A. where even the delusional fanbase didn't appreciate him. Have fun with his replacement :laff:

Out here in my damn drawls
The thing is, even Kobe readily admitted that being in Shaq's shadow and hearing the "Kobe can't win without Shaq" stuff bothered him. If he was only about winning, he would have been dreading the day that Shaq left, not looking forward to the new opportunities.

Star players grow accustomed to getting all of the praise when things go well and little of the blame when they don't. Being the second in line in LA basically turn the tables on Dwight since Kobe was the untouchable guy in town.

:what: What kind of man has a bottom b!tch mentality like that?!!?!?

Im mixed on this.....

I do think he didn't want to put his foot in his mouth like Lebron did when he was introduced in Miami.

If he would have talked about winning rings right off the bat, and they don't win one next season.......he would have opened himself up to getting shytted on by the media.

IMO he gave the safe answers, which at this moment in time is probably the smartest thing hes done.

all he had to say is "we want to compete for a championship immediately" thats not guaranteeing anything. this sounds too much like writing off year 1, if i was a houstonian id be pissed

Dawg a lot of that to this very day is still just speculation. We don't know if Shaq really asked for a trade. If kobe said it's either him or shaq. What we do know is that management was willing to cut ties with Shaq becuz of his bad work habits and his age compared to Kobe.

Actually we do know some of those things.

Shaq was the one who requested the trade, he said as much in multiple interviews. Shaq also said that the main reasons he demanded the trade was because Phil was fired and Dr Buss didn't want to give Shaq more money.

The original plan for the Lakers was to give Kobe the Max deal and give Shaq a much smaller extension, thus starting the transition to the next era. Shaq wasn't having that so he demanded his trade.

I'm not talking about the passive aggressive digs ESPN takes with the "lakers are 43-0 when Kobe takes fewer than 19 shots" graphics, I'm talking about the Lakers fans.

Kobe is golden in LA, no matter how bad he fukks up in a particular game, he doesn't have to worry about the fans getting at him or saying the team should cut his ass. Dwight got a steady diet of that last year and I'm sure he wasn't used to it. Obviously it's a different situation since Kobe has been there for 35 seasons and Dwight was a one year player that had the ability to hit it and quit it but still, it is what it is.

Kobe has said a lot of things about wanting to retire a Laker but if the fans started getting at him and wanting him off the team the way they did with Dwight, do you really think he wouldn't be motivated to go elsewhere for the last few years of his career?

Except that Lakers fans were upset with Kobe also. L.A. Sports radio was filled with people talking about Kobe taking too many shots. Kobe obviously has earned the benefit of the doubt with many Lakers fans, but there are also a large segment of Lakers fans who tolerate him at best.

Like I said, Dwight didn't start getting any heavy criticisms until Nash put him on blast and he refused to play though an injury guys KNEW he could play though. Before that the worst anybody had to say about Dwight was his post game was wack and he couldn't hit Free throws (both of which are true).

Once Lakers fans get a hint that you're not playing hard they'll turn on you. That's why Lakers fans got fed up with Shaq, that's why many Lakers fans were ready to tell Kobe to kick rocks in 07, that's why Pau Gasol was so under appreciated since 2011. That's why during home Lakers games when the team doesn't show up the staples crowd boos them. Once fans found out Dwight was half assing it on the court he had to dig himself out of that hole.

:laff:, but hey he can slip up like that in Houston. LA u better not fukk around they expect a ring every year

They still have a pissed Asik, Jeremy Lin flopped terribly in the playoffs....whats that bench looking like? :patrice:

Dwight wanted to be the man, but hes gonna be playing 2nd fiddle to Harden....the same role he was playing last season to Kobe.

Hope he takes advantage of the coaching from McHale & Hakeem, because his success at learning how to score in the post is the way he can justify the move.
