Shaq was a good help defender. He wasn't that great defensively, but that was mostly due to motivation. Shaq should have averaged over 16 RPG and 4 bpg in his prime.

Thread is about how bad Kareem shytted on Coward anyway...carry on

Also, LMFAO @ that graphic near the end putting him up against 3 HOF players all who DOMINATED when the league had PLENTY of talent at the PF and C positions.

This is exactly why ESPN is a joke. Ewing, Dream, and Shaq would average 35, 14, and 3 today EASY

A more appropriate thing for ESPN to do is to somehow adjust the numbers and see how instead D12 really compares to Chris Dudley, Rony Seikaly, and Shawn Bradley

TBH D12 is about the level of Mutumbo and I am not sure its that clear cut because they are both very limited offensively. D12 is the better defender though

I wonder if a bit of McHale's soul dies every time Dwight attempts a drop step. :to:

It's not like Kareem is coming out the blue with this or waiting till Howard left the Lakers to say something. Isn't this a response to Howard saying the other day that he prefers to work with Dream over KAJ because he's not a 7 footer like Kareem?

My issue is why trade for him ask him to sign long term? It makes no sense if he is this bad with no BBIQ and no post moves. Then ask him to be the face of the Lakers when Kobe leaves but we all know Kobe trying to break the all time points record.....It does not add up
