And how would they acquire these high quality players with Kobe and Dwight (and Pau too since you mentioned him) taking up all the cap space?

HIGHER quality players, not high quality players. Having a roster with Dwight Howard & Pau Gasol is the difference between getting someone Chris Kaman (because we needed a Center after Dwight left) and Wesley Johnson, and instead using THAT money to acquire a SF that we could've used to pair with Howard & Gasol in Trevor Ariza, Corey Brewer, or Mike Dunleavy.

Who is talking about the bolded? :dahell: I am talking about learning how to be a champion. That team wasn't gonna gonna come close to a championship and in turn champion lessons, period.

You're talking about all hypothetical situations that never occurred anyways.

Kobe has never been about teaching people sh!t, breh :smugdraper:
Carmelo, LamarCus Aldridge and many more that could, did what what they could to NOT play with the mofo.

Jordan had a former rival Ron Harper taking paycuts to be his backup. He had Brian Williams taking paycuts to come get some of this ring action. Had Dennis Rodman putting aside his well publicized hatred for the Bull to come get some.
Who has Kobe been able to lure over there?

Malone, Payton and all these guys came to play with Shaq and bounced the minute Shaq left.

Name me another MEGA STAR of his caliber that had more people doing more to NOT play with him. Name them. I'll wait.

Kobe Bean Bryan. Great player? YES no doubt. One of the greatest? Probably. Great teammate/mentor/able to make teammates better? HELL TO THE fukk NO

So Cal
If you recall carefully, Kobe started the season on a tear, but he broke down in the second half. And eventually he ruptured his achilles and they called a fukking foul on Harrison Barnes for no reason and the lakers got free throws they didn't deserve and won that game the warriors should have won... and yes I'm still mad.
:childplease: he ain't breakdown the 2nd half, nikka was out there putting up Stat lines the world ain't never seen

Okay...we've established that. My basis for that hypothetical is what we have actually seen happen the last couple years. They likely couldn't have afforded Ariza but even in the event that he takes a discount that squad ain't winning no chip. I am not arguing whether or not the squad could've been better with Dwight, I am arguing whether or not Kobe would have had the opportunity to teach Dwight how to be a champion and he most certainly would not have.

:dwillhuh: are you retarded? how can wilt average something that kobe was the 1st to do? i prove you're wrong and you call me a Stan?:snoop:

I was making fun of you for being stupid. But I did in a way that was too complicated from you to understand. Nobody gives a fukk about ESPN bullshyt stats. They are unique in the same way you are a unique set of genes. And nobody gives a fukk about the fact the Lakers were given highly preferential treatment just to get them to the playoffs which is why kobe shot 18 free throws in the game you referenced.
