For the first part .. I'm pretty sure the new collective agreement didn't go into effect till this upcoming year. (or next?) Which in essence means if he doesnt re-up with the magic this year ... then he'd be able to get that 5th year from Orlando (or whatever team he gets traded to cause they'd get his bird rights) Some bullshyt like that.

Prolly has more to do with him asking to be traded, opting in for another year with the Magic, and then almost immediately asking to be traded again. I couldn't even type that with straight face. Dwight is displaying hoodrat with 5 kids/4 dads level reasoning and not taking any responsibility for his actions. He could be in Brooklyn right now however he chose to opt in, nobody to blame for that but him. at them blackmailing this nikka into opting in for a year. WTF is the point?
