No breh, we got Mosgov's contract for two more seasons; Dwight's expires next summer :francis:

Only saved some luxury tax money this season but still gotta pay him $17 million in 2019-20 :snoop:

Ramona Shelburne is right, Mitch keeps trying to make Mosgov a thing :mjlol:

I forgot Mitch signed him at 12:01 am two years ago :bryan:

well in this case, they must really value those 2nd rounders. For a real franchise, Id say fukk it, you prolly could find some competent (for charlotte standards) players based on recent drafts. but theyll probably fukk up and draft an Uncle Drew extra with one of em picks and the fat mexican kid from modern family with the other one

Picture Dwight starting on the Warriors and getting a ring after beating the Rockets and the Lakers :wow:

So the Magic had agreed to the framework of a trade and Howard said he was gonna opt out to force that deal. And on that plane ride the entire team (who would know what's going on) treated it as a goodbye to Dwight. But the Magic were not going to trade him? :gucci:

They refused our offers later that summer after the Joe Johnson deal when Dwight and his people asked for a trade to Brooklyn (which is hilarious since 4 months earlier he had the chance to leave and passed on it). So yes at that point the Magic refused our offers and waited for other deals. But they were 100% trading him to us at the deadline until he signed that opt-in out of nowhere.
As for Deron Williams, fukk Deron Williams:pacspit: I have no issue admitting I was wrong on him. Might be the most p*ssy player I've ever seen

if my memory serves me correctly this was the year that they had the lock out and when they came back to play basketball the top 3 Eastern conference teams were the heat, the pacers & bulls
the magic played well & was thought they had just as good a chance to win the East
it only made sense to dwight to finish the year out in hoping to win a chip, in hindsight i dont think ORL was ever gonna go thru with the trade - like i said, they made a decision not to send him to the Nets
when the smoke cleared, the magic chose a much shytter deal A Afflalo, N Viciece a protected 1st rd & 2nd
over
B Lopez, M Brooks, (2) unprotected 1st rd picks {and mind u - CAR said they would take Lopez if ORL didn't want him & give the magic there overall 2nd pick that year draft

i know we’ll alway disagree on this
BUT
i just don't fault dwight - he had the entire city & media begging him to stay, unfortunately his commitment to playing the year out in chance of winning it all - was the worst pro basketball move he ever made

cause Melo, KD & currently Kawhi were far worst

That's where he messed up is what we've all been saying. All he had to do was not opt in on that flight. That is where things just when downward for him.

People can say what they want of his older style of play but the fact is if you dont have interior defense, he makes every team better defensively. He never needed to be anything other than a defender and he gave us +20pts along with double figure rebounds when used properly career-wise. nikkas can clown Dwight Howard for being trash all they want but let him sign to Golden State and theyll change the narrative quick as fukk and talk about how he's one of the greatest big men in the game, a former MVP candidate etc etc etc....:deadmanny:
