Plumlee makes less. He makes a starting player's salary. He can be moved. Besides, he knows his role and isn't out there complaining about touches.

And they aren't sweating a mid 2nd.

Keeping Dwight would keep them in purgatory. They need to bottom out and tank to get better.

With three years remaining on his contract, I don't see it unless you include 1st round pick. Miles is not an even a competent backup center. 31st pick is certainly not a mid second round pick. Hawks didn't get salary relief or an additional minor asset. Hornets clearly won this trade.

Dwight will get bored and give up by mid season
He's just collecting a check from all these teams now not seriously trying to help anyone
Just coasting off his name value from the past
point me to another rim protecting center that averages a double double that can be got for miles plumlee :jbhmm:
I actually think that team could be a problem for anyone in the east except Cleveland.
if the nba didn't give us 21 games in 31 days or whatever that ridiculous stretch was last year we wouldn't have been dead by january

gonna be problems next year regardless :sas2:

Breh still is a top defender and rebounder at his position he just didn't fit our system:yeshrug:

And lets keep it 100, he's a fukking locker room cancer. He's been a problem everywhere he's been. His people tried to blame that shyt on the Orlando FO, Kobe, Harden....who they gonna try to blame now?

Dude just needs to grow up and accept that he's not a scoring option, just shut the fukk up, play defense, and grab boards.

Hawks needed to turn the page and blow it up. That's all that matters for them. Howard is a dinasour, they had to give away assets to get rid of him. What they got in return is easier to move piece by piece. Plumlee can be moved in a year or two. The important part is they needed to tank.

Say what you want, but with Kemba, Batum, Marvin Williams, MKG, Dwight, +Zeller, +Frank Kaminsky we can get back to losing the first round in 7 games :hhh:

Lin's never coming back, I would've liked him over Marvin Williams but Marvin Williams can go 0-11 and still be one of the most important players on the floor with everything else he does for the team. Lin's good in Brooklyn...

We need to fix the backup PG spot now and replace Marco - but we got the picks and space to make that happen now.

We in a real good spot for the time being.
