Sap isn't a top 15 player :dwillhuh: Top 25 yes but we're debating semantics.

If Wop wasn't the right move, fine. Do something about it. But we lost value and talent on this trade. That can't be denied breh

Only thing I can think of is that maybe the front office didn't like D12's attitude and him thinking that he was a main offensive option :yeshrug:

That along with him not really fitting our system:manny:

But overall I think he is still a pretty good player.

Value, no.
Talent, yes.

But we didn't lose any value trading Dwight. He had to go. We lost value signing him in the first place

Hopefully he buys into that. The problem with Dwight is that he think he is a number one option but he hasn't been that since Orlando.
buy into what? NOT a double double player? :dahell: we don't need an all-star, we need bigs that ain't gonna tap out after 2 quarters of defense

and you think a dwight howard post up is gonna faze anyone after seeing Spencer Hawes try and take people off the dribble from the 3pt line?

he can be as dumb as he wants as long he blocks a few shots and rebounds

I think we lost significant value in this trade. You gave up the 31st pick to go to the 41st pick to get rid of Wop. That's a loss of value. Although the Hawks got rid of Wop's contact we have a 12.5 million a year bum in Miles Plumlee signed through 19-20. That's a terrible deal for a middling, journeyman C. That's a bad contract value. As a Hawks fan where is the value in this deal for the Hawks?

Just got weird looks at work from laughing at these memories

Almost as great as the BJ Mullens days.

Great post. This is why guys don't wanna play here. There is absolutely no sense of long term direction or strategy from this franchise. My Hawks brehs like "we gotta tank breh, it's the only way" I'm like :gucci: Trading Wop isn't the solution here. This was a poorly constructed roster the last couple years that was increasingly inconsistent last season. Wop was actually productive at rebounding and blocking shots and still get you 10-15 a night. Now that's gone. Now we got worse with a worse player with an equally bad contract (Plumlee) a bench guy in Bellinelli and a worse draft pick. How is that a win?
They made ya'll whiter. They want to appeal to the Braves crowd. :DameMJLol:

Oddly enough I don't like this trade for the Hawks. I know Howards a malcontent but he's still a good if no longer great Center and certainly better than Miles Plumlee.

MJ: Man, if you don't get your silly ass down on the block and rebound for Kemba.

MJ gonna show up to practice early, just to wait for Dwight

As soon as Dwight takes a 3....
