When healthy and motivated, Dwight can be the most dominate player since Shaq, deadass. I like his new situation in the A, it looks like they're making more of an effort to feed him the ball more than Houston did. I don't see why he can have a 18 & 12 season this year.

Dwight does all the dirty work like pound the glass, set good hard screens, challenge weak side shots...
A guy doing all of that had BETTER be getting touches...otherwise he won't be motivated to do it...which is what happened to him in LA and Houston...they stopped making any real attempt to give him the ball and he stopped making any attempt to do all the dirty stuff...that is human nature...no big man is going to want to do all the stuff that doesn't show up in a stat sheet and then you let him touch the ball...8 times the entire game...
Are Dwight's post moves horrible...yep...but are they effective...yep...
Does he need to be shooting 20 plus times a game...hell now...
Does he need to be shooting 12 - 16 times a game...absolutely...
Go ahead and queue up the rockets "why couldn't Dwight do this in Houston" thread that will get made 20 games into the season when he averaging 18 and 11 on 65% shooting and leading the league in dunks...

In the past Dwight focused too much on fancy post moves which was not his wheelhouse.....
Being productive in the post is more about getting good deep post position....where he can seal of his defender and make a simple move to the middle or over his shoulder.....being fed the ball on the edge of the block and having to work his way in was and will continue to be a disaster and he and Coach bud should stray away from any sets that require him to do that
hard screens and rim rolls, running in transition, back cuts and lobs, posts and reposts till he gets better positions and dwight can be a 20 pt scorer....I think 19-12-2 line for the season could be on the cards if his health remains

Damn he's really lost a lot of lift 
Man any team should run their offense around Dwight Howard, ESPECIALLY a team like the Hawks with all those shooters on deck. He was at his best when they played the in and out game with him. I don't see why he shouldn't get 20 looks a game if he's still finishing at a high rate.
