Bernie or Bust people were never going to vote for Clinton. Just like the PUMAs in 2008. :manny:
I think they could have if the Clinton campaign made more overtures to their concerns, like picking a more progressive VP than Tim Kaine. Either way, this mess is actually turning off moderates and others already in the Clinton camp.

I don't believe a "more progressive" VP nominee would have made a difference. We're talking about people who turned on Elizabeth Warren when she endorsed Clinton. Many have even turned on Bernie.

This whole process was bullshyt.

Bernie didn't have a shot. First thing that popped up in my head after the CNN alert was "Crooked Hillary ".

Hope people have the balls to go third party.
They won't...

This is one of the dumbest countries in the world bruh...All I keep hearing is basically "yea there are some issues with Hillary but if I don't vote for her Trump might win"...As if a crook in a pants suit in the white house is a better alternative than a con man...

Democratic Party head resigns amid email furor on eve of convention
In a statement, Clinton thanked Wasserman Schultz and said she would serve as a surrogate for her campaign and as honorary chairwoman of a 50-state program to build the party in every part of the country.

"As president, I will need fighters like Debbie in Congress who are ready on day one to get to work for the American people," she said.

:francis: Sounds like she's still keeping her role

Canova searched his name in the WikiLeaks database and saw that he was mentioned in about 70 emails. He said it appeared DNC staff was acting like an arm of Wasserman Schultz’s reelection effort and might have violated campaign-finance laws.

“We think there might have been a violation of the law and we’re checking with lawyers,” Canova told POLITICO. “I might file an FEC.”

Canova remarked that one of Wasserman Schultz’s emails, in which she hunted for tickets to the Broadway musical “Hamilton,” underscore just how out of touch and deceptive she has been with the race for Florida’s 23rd congressional district.

“She said she has no time to debate me because she’s busy -- busy trying to score tickets to Hamilton,” Canova said. “Well now she’s in quarantine by the party and it’s time for her to come back to the district.”
