:ohhh:

But Kobe is the ball hog:shaq2:

Career numbers are skewed because of Kobe's first few years. Most fga per game Bron ever had was 23 (same year Kobe had 27). That was 7 years ago, hasn't come close since, been under 20 four of the last five years. Bean hasn't been under 20 since Lebron's rookie year.

:pachaha: How can anyone refute this?

This is true.

Like I said earlier in the thread people keep bringing shyt up without proper context.

The stuff about Kobe's FGA has always been absurdly stupid though. There's a reason the all time scoring leaders list is virtually identical to the all time leaders in shots taken.

Fun Fact: despite playing more seasons, minutes, and games Kobe still hasn't taken as many shots as Jordan did during his career.

The problem with Kobe has never been about the number of shots he takes , it's about the TYPE of shots he takes. If he's taking good shots I wouldn't care if he took 40 a game.

I think Wade is going get his wish and Lebron will come out passive trying to get Bosh and Wade going instead. I hope for his sake Wade can back up his comments on the court but I doubt it.

Agreed. Kobe still has a bad habit of forcing himself into taking shots even when it's not there, but you just learn to live with it as a lakers fan. It's also what makes him great because there's nothing anyone can do when he forces those shots and is on. :ohlawd:

I can't remember who it was but someone said Kobe is the best bad shot taker in NBA history. He makes some horrible fukking shots go in somehow.

Only time I get really pissed is when his shot is off and he tries to shoot himself out of a slump.

Those comparisons are idiotic anyway because again, they lack context, such as the situation a player is in throughout their career.

so when bronze is dominating the ball, it's because he HAS to, but when kobe does it, it's chucking mode.

u bronze stans with your spin doctoring is amazing.

its crazy how averaging 2 more assists per game almost absolves Bron of the selfish label

I wonder if Kobe only knew that if he was even MORE SELFISH when it came to keeping the ball and instead of shooting passed it two more times, he'd be free of the selfish label

listen guys.....just cause you average 7 assists doesn't mean your play ain't selfish.......Bron has reduced to all-stars in Bosh and Wade who used to be able to score every way imaginable into just jump shooters.

Because Bron likes to have the ball at all time (whether to pass or shoot), he's taken away from each of those players strengths. Just ask yourself this. Why does every player Bron plays with get reduced to a jump shooter? Why does Bron gotta hold the ball for 20 of the 24 seconds in the shot clock then barrel into the lane to either shoot or kick it out to shooters. This style of play is not conducive to winning multiple titles cause all you need to do is clog the lane with a big like Hibbert and stay on the shooters.

only tweek Spoelstra made was putting Lebron in the post which they've gone back away from.

The Heat would have had the series wrapped up if Spo used this from game 1 on or went back to it in game 6 even, opened everything right up when he finally did use it in game 3.
