Wade is at 20ppg now.

Kobe is below 50 percent now.

BrokeBack Bassington is busy stalking Boy Scouts during winter camp now.

This is a great example of how numbers usually regress to the mean. Dwyane Wade is still better than Kobe Bryant, and statistics reflect it. Higher PER, WS/48, and WP/48. The regression is still happening as we type.

Kobe had a hot start to the year. Dwyane usually starts slow, and then we proceeded with this rush to say Wade is done.

:heh::heh::heh:

a superstar averaging 20.5 ppg is impressive?

29, 4.8, and 4.7 >>>>20.5, 4.5, 4.7 any way you spin it

Kobe has missed no games and is averaging 38 mpg, Wade has missed atleast 5, plays 33 minutes, gets benched, and struggles to finish games

Wade season high is 35, Kobe drops that in his sleep...in other words, HELL no

If Wade was taking 22 shots a night, his average would be up as well you dumbfukk.

You give those numbers no perspective, Wade is a much more efficient player and here's the math.

Wade averages 21 points taking 15 shots a game @ 52% for 33 mins. Kobe takes 22 shots a game. If Wade shot the ball 22 times a game he'd average 28 PPG, and that's without adjusting his free throw attempts or minutes played. If Kobe shot the ball 15 times a game at his current percentage he'd average 20.2 ppg, and thats while giving him his current minutes and free throw attempts. In all likelihood Wade would average around 29-30 points given the same minutes and fga as Kobe, while Kobe would average around 18.6 put in Wade's situation.

why do people get so impressed by a player who needs 30 shot attempts to make it to 30 points?
I think kobe is better than wade still but if kobe played more like wade is playing they'd prolly be winning more games.
Instead of taking 20+ shots and scoring 30 imagine him getting 25 points off of 15 FGA's. Then you open up opportunities for dwight. look at last game. They won and kobe also took only 3 shots in the first and looked for dwight most of the time.

Wade's efficiency would drop if he took 22 shots. You didn't take that into account.

I've argued the same thing about Paul Pierce vs other players during the big 3 era. People don't take into account the limited, touches, minutes, etc when playing with other allstars. Ignorant people just think the player has fallen off.

this is the main reason i feel chris bosh deserved the allstar nod put bosh back on the raptors and his numbers would be like he never left.
