I don't know if he said what is in my title but someone exec at Halliburton said it. I can't find the quote right now though. I guess it probably wasn't him because he wouldn't have been CEO of HAL then.

Either way it's amazing he's even alive.

I been said the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld trio was one of the most gangsta collectives of all time. None of this surprises me, dikk Cheney is a one of a kind scumbag. :hugoehh:
One of the most overlooked G moves Suge Cheney ever pulled was how he became VP in the first place. Bush assigned him, the big homie and one of his father's friends, to find him a VP candidate.

He completed his searching and vetting process and came back and told Bush "I'm your guy. :birdman:"

He has complete disdain for the the American public. He feels it's a personal affront to even question him about policies. This quote from A Few Good Men is dikk Cheney in a nut shell.

" I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to! "

Uncertain grounds
i always tell people that Cheyney was the one pulling the strings in the Bush administration. Bush was just the puppet because as evidenced in this thread, dikk Cheyney has no social skills and is a genuine evil person

I always figured this was common knowledge. Bush is a borderline sympathetic figure because he was a big oaf who took the blame for everything when he probably rarely had the final call or was the architect of anything. He was terrible though.

Cheney and HW are 2 of the worst americans of all time. not debatable

I think this is a bit of a popular mischaracterization of Bush. I think he relied on Cheney's advice and experience quite a bit, especially in the early years, but Bush was the real alpha in the White House. He was firm and confident in his decision-making and regularly shut Cheney and Rumsfeld down when he disagreed with their counsel. He was just naive, incurious, and not properly deliberative when making those disastrous decisions and policies. I don't think Bush's sins are that he's evil but moreso that he was just incredibly misguided and reckless. Cheney, on the other hand, is the embodiment of evil.
