I copped on release and found the game meh overall, but dropping back in after all the updates it’s pretty good.

They must’ve added more quests because there seems like a lot of things to do, the parkour is really good now and animation locked, attacking enemies feels and sounds better. So much has changed I’m going to beat this again

Ehh it tries a lil bit with the various lighting sliders but it’s still its own thing which imo isn’t better than the first game.

The night exploration is good now though as there’s more special infected roaming the rooftops

I might give it a go over the holidays at some point. I’ve heard it is much better after all the updates, but DL1 left a void that hasn’t been filled yet, on some Hollow Knight shyt

I never got back to DL2 after launch. I’ll keep an eye out on this and get a GOTY edition on sale down the line if it’s good

Took 10 years but we all the way back, I played like 3 to 4 hours and the vibes from the 1st game is strong af

They stepped the cinematics up and you now get both 3rd and 1st person cut scenes, optional dialog conversations that let you immerse into story/world even more.

Character models are extremely detailed, new weather system, buttery smooth framerates with no drops.
