One of my favorite open world games I played so far. And one of the best survival horror games I played in a while next to Alien: Isolation.

Your right. I bought it at game stop all hyped. 3 hours I though I was playing assassin's creed with all the fun elments stripped out. Returned the very next day

Its gotten its time to shine, its a solid game, the only thing that killed it for me was the bullet sponge bosses, they embed the whole "bullets are few and worth plenty" ideal into you, only to have moments you can't skip wherein you have to plug a boss with a slew of bullets. Besides that the atmosphere is beautiful/scary. You learn to stealth-kill humans for bullets or just pass on by when it comes to certain situations, while linear, the game sells you adventure and atmosphere pretty well.
I've been playing the shyt out of this game lately, couldn't tell you how many hours I've put in but it has to be around 30 and I'm only like 53% done with the main story. There have been some moments that have been straight up terrifying and I'm not ashamed to admit I almost never play at night because that shyt scares the life out of me. Is this going to make it difficult for me to finish the game?

Game is kinda wack. It gets boring quick. I can't put a finger on why because it has all the typical things you want to keep you busy like side quest, collectibles, upgrades, looting etc. Plus some of the gameplay features was trash and the game becomes insanely easy after a certain point. Parkor at times was off, and why the fck do I have virals always attacking me or running up on em even when I haven't made any sounds. Why is that when i'm mid swing a biter attack animation overrides my attack. none the less it's a 6/10 kinda game to me.
About to beat this game soon. It was a very fun game. Like I said you have to get use to it...
