you see how they are treating running backs in the league now? maybe his pops told him to stay at lb to maximize his future earnings and to keep him healthy.

i don't think LB was his choice. the evaluators were saying its his best position. he's not considered an elite prospect at RB. even if thats what he wanted.

IMO he better hope he grows another inch or two and can gain 30 lbs. the only LBs making money in the league right now are the 3-4 OLBs that rush the passer. ala Justin Houston. the ole school 4-3 OLB doesn't get much more than RBs.

bobby wagner just got paid (he's the type of player I project him to be at the next level). bowman, timmons, cushing, sean lee all have 40-50 mill dollar deals. the thing is he's going to have to play inside to get that kind of money. just looking at his frame, i dont think he's going to grow into a 3-4 OLB.

.

You keep putting your foot in your mouth. He had the best performance at rb this summer out of class of 2017 & 2018 prospects

Best of Rivals Camp Series: Running backs

The Rivals Camp Series Presented By Under Armour has concluded with 10 Rivals Camps, two Speed & Skill Challenges and four Quarterback Challenges. As always, we take the best of the best from the events and come up with our top players at each position. Here's a look at the running backs, led by 2017 five-star Dylan Moses, the only underclassman to lead his position group.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Best of Rivals Camp Series: Running backs
# 1 RB
Dylan Moses
Baton Rouge (La.) University Laboratory School (2017),
1669839.jpg

The Latest: Moses committed to LSU, but he continues to draw attention of college coaches across the country.

The Skinny: Moses may or may not be a running back (he is currently ranked as a five-star linebacker) but there is no doubt about his playmaking ability on the offensive side of the ball. He is a physical specimen and at RCS: Atlanta, he proved to be too big, quick and athletic for any and all opponents. He earned Running Back MVP honors for his dominating performance in Atlanta.

you put the best athletes in PREMUIM positions. that means RB, WR, CB for the small guys. nobody says hey lets move our best athlete to S. if a kid is 6'2" and can run, you put him at WR or CB not Safety. for the big guys, the premuim positions are LT, DE, and DT. there will never be a #1 ranked player that is an OG or C.

Dylan Moses started out playing RB and LB. the fact he wasn't good enough to stick at RB supports my theory that he's not longer as physically advanced from his peers as he was 2-3 years ago. why can't he still play RB if he's this transcended athlete?
But he does play running back. Cam Cameron is one of his main recruiters p. And these scout services knew he was a LB from day one and that never change their perception of him so wat does that say? He's the #1 in Louisiana regardless of class. Leonard Fournette was also the best player in the state as a junior but the classes ahead of him were weak.

Yea hopefully Orgeron can do his magic but these up north dudes don't really like playing down south the heat is too much for them. That's why Clifton Garret transferred.

Yeah but he was at LSU camp 2 weeks ago with his coach. Now hes coming back with his mom on his own dime (plane ticket) from New Jersey to Baton Rouge. That shyt aint cheap.

It would be great if we get him. Remember we already have Ed Alexander committed and there's been talks that Rishard Lawrence is a silent commit. If we don't get him it won't be he end of the world. Talk about getting better at the trenches tho

what was his SPARQ this year? Against last year's senior class he was ranked 45th in the nation as a sophmore with ~ 120. To compare, Malik Jefferson who was the top OLB last year and scored 145. He should get faster and stronger, but he's already physically elite for an exiting senior and is just going into his junior season in high school. Moorer could turn this dude into a beast like Malik.
