40 got one of the best rap careers ever dude still relevant on the radio 25-30 years later
as someone who bought the hall of game on release date, its absolutely insane to see.

i honestly wish he didn't do the double, triple CD stuff later in his career, because its just too much to listen to. I randomly come across fire tracks with him and am like  when did this drop!??!?

I met E40 and he promised me that the E-40 and too short album was gonna come out...this is like 2002 [about when AUTOMATIC came out]

the other day I was like "damn i wish that e-40 and too short came out :upsetfavre:"

i totally missed it :snoop:

e-40 is the effin man and dude is truly one of the best success stories in music history. From the trunk of the car, held up his entire family while in college at grambling, gave careers to his cousin, his brother, his sister...and now his SON...dude is the epitome of 100

Verse 3, where 40 goes "Broke?" it then cuts to Hammer sitting in a (probably rented) whip saying "Nope" :mjlol:

Cool vid doe:salute:
nah

that was showing love to hammer, who is an OG E-40 and click family potna...he is NOT broke, and 40 was like "tell them fools where it stands"

The album this track is from is one of his more solid recent releases. I listened to it more than anything else that's come out this year. Sharp On All Four Corners is the name of it. He's slowly getting back his the mobb music roots.

its coo, seems like everybody luvs it tho

e-40 got way better tracks IMO, i guess they too regional soundin for tha rest of these cats

or it might be tha fact that E-40 "dumbed down" his shyt, rapped a lot slower, and now tha nation luvs him, when he raps fast with his original style everybody outside california and tha south seemed to hate it....
put us on to some E-40. for some reason i never got around to checking some music out but he's one of them dudes i've been meaning to check out on the music tip (other cats i never really fully listened to was 8Ball and MJG).

anyway, do you have some songs where he's spitting game and dropping gems?

Check out Practice Looking Hard & 1 Luv to get used to him and then go from there. It's an acquired taste, but he's a great artist to listen to if you can get used to his style. I always pick up something new from a song of his no matter how many times I've heard it, whether it's content or delivery.

Too many styles to guess what you would like,I love it all:banderas:,40 just fun as shyt to listen too breh....I suggest the world get up on classic bay area hiphop right quick.....I don't see how anybody could not get addicted, shyt is like a movie:wow:

I agree I do wanna see him mix it up more,I don't know if he don't have the breath control no more for the buck fifty flows:blessed:,but he can still go I bet,But its like sometimes he's obsessed with riding the beat now, thats not the 40 I know:mjcry:...And we miss the weird voices and goofy azz deliverys that probably made a lot of people write him off.

The media embraced Nicki Minaj when she did it....the old guard dropped the ball on 40.
