kirby strugglin to get in with these OP ass defensive mechanics and when he finally gets in u can only get in a grab or one hit

This sht seems to be suffering with the same problem Brawl has with its powerful ass defensive mechanics and weak ass offensive ones

The problem is that it plays to similarly to an old and bad game(Brawl)

Game looks piff, lets not jump to conclusions since all we saw was a bunch of items games :snoop: glad they got rid of the floaty style and tripping of brawl, looks a lot more like melee, got to remember brehs the players that played still getting into the groove of things

Saw the best buy demo the other day. Game looks :ehh: for what it is, and it'll probably be great for casual matches.

As a competitive game, I dunno brehs :lupe:
On one hand, it's not even out yet, and you never know what the players will discover once the game is actually released.

On the other hand, the game really needs to be fast paced and have combos if it's going to attract the hardcore fans. Getting rid of tripping was a step in the right direction-- but they also need to have movement and combo options that will reward offensive play.

Even if wavedashing/L-cancelling/etc aren't in it, the game will still be fire if they can pull that off and do a decent job of balancing the roster.

Melee and Project M will always be that piff regardless :steviej:

You can't do the same combos as melee, it's a different game. Players will figure out how to play it. And dash dancing is not at all balanced, it gives an unfair advantage to faster characters. I'm not gonna rate a game I haven't played myself but I honestly think some people will dislike anything that isn't melee based. Which is fine if that's their preference, but I'm excited to try the new game
