Blocking is hands down the worst thing this game does. Their are so few actual blocking animations that it just boils down to if your guy touches the other guy or not. Any running play that gets blown up is because my lineman just flat out didn't block some guy right in front of him, not because of some good defense.

Then yesterday I watched my friend figure out how you can cheese the defensive line. He will select a lineman then move one direction then instantly sprint back the other direction. 7 out of 10 times he can just run right around the offensive lineman untouched. Then in the instances where another lineman flat out doesn't block the person in front of him it's just instantly two people sprinting at you :smh:

Going to mess around with sliders to start a franchise eventually but definitely took an L on player vs player gameplay. shyt is trash.

I fukking hate this game. Happened multiple times in online play my cornerback matchup setting gets changed automatically at the worst time leaving a WR wide open for a touchdown. I should not have to check a setting before every god damn play to make sure it didn't change itself.

I'd rather a game like this not come out until August as opposed to rushing a bugged out version to market in July.

Take your time. Fix the blocking. Stop making it so that the more improbable a play, the more likely it is to succeed. To hell with the animations. There's no situational awareness for that. Far too many easy plays get fukked up because of how animation-heavy this edition is.

Supposed to be big update coming

Comes out tomorrow College Football 26 Campus Huddle | Title Update August 6th

  • Cover 2 Tampa: The middle defender now gets deeper, maintaining better leverage position against deep threats, especially from 3x1 formations.
  • Cover 3 Match (incl. Buzz Mable & Zone Blitz 3): Logic improvements for Defenders when reacting to Slot WRs attempting to outleverage the defense on deep routes.
  • Cover 2 Match (incl. Cover 6/9/Zone Blitz 2): Logic Improvements for defenders guarding inside and vertical routes, especially in formations like bunches and stacks. Improved defense against outside throws and motion-heavy offenses.
  • Cover 4 Quarters: Against 3x1 sets Corners and Safeties pick up the appropriate vertical threat to ensure that the #3 Receiver is covered on deep routes.
Insane they are finally fixing this....I've been burned in CPU games by all 4 of the above in this AND last year's game
