Don't know why they don't like some mass effect type ish but using star wars. Like being able to customize your character and starting off as a padawan instead of a spectre etc

EA is all about making less games that make more money. Not a surprise that they might not have been planning a sequel. The first half didn't have anything to drive repeat transactions from owners.

Check their output the last generation and a half, breh. Ever since Ultimate Team took off, they've been chasing the microtransaction wave. And nearly every large publisher is in record of saying they want people playing their games longer so they're more likely to buy cosmetics, etc.
Unless I missed something, Fallen Order didn't really have that, so it probably wasn't their immediate focus.
This is what KOTOR is, the people who made mass effect made that game
