Once Fast and the Furious stopped being about street racing, NFS popularity took a nose dive. Didn't help that most of their games have been mid over the last 10 years.

Eh. In my opinion. The Need for Speed series hasn't had a meaningful iteration since the PS2 era and you can argue Burnout despite being an arcadey game has essentially replaced it.
Yeah, I played it through PS+I had a bit of fun with the recent one, Unbound I think.
Granted I got it when it was on PS+, but it wasn't that bad.

Crazy how in the PS2 era, Underground and Most Wanted were one of those games that everyone with a console owned.
