lol, you sure about that? Ya'll don't got no one explosive at WR. No one.

Garcon is good.
Reed has potential.
Hankerson has potential.

I think the receivers that we have are good enough. No need to break the bank for someone who might come here, coast along, and collect a fat paycheck while underachieving. That's happened way too many times before with this team.

lol, potential isn't what RG3 needs right now. He needs help right now. Getting WR's for RG3 with potential is good in his 7th and 8th season when he's developed. For right now, he needs finished products. DeSean is one of the best in Football. Much better than anyone you currently have.

Reed had a great rookie season last year. Hankerson had a season ending injury last year but he definitely could be a solid #2 receiver next season to complement Garcon who had an amazing year despite the rest of the team struggling.

The defense is one of the main issues on the team so it wouldn't make sense to put a lot of money in a player who they don't desperately need.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs have dropped out of the running for free agent DeSean Jackson.
This should send up an immediate red flag to other interested teams, based on coach Andy Reid's history with Jackson. Kansas City also has a wide receiver need. Per RapSheet, the Chiefs "did research" on D-Jax, and opted against signing him. Jackson is scheduled to visit the Redskins on Monday. Many national reporters expect Dan Snyder to out-bid the field for 27-year-old Jackson.

:patrice: Not even Big Red wants Djax.

the way I understood it is the Chiefs didn't have money to start with to even contend with signing him

Wishful thinking with Hank. Garcon wasn't amazing, he was good. You said it best at first. I think you are overstating things my friend. Remember, I live in DC and watch Skins games as well. I don't think much of RG3 weapons outside of Morris.

Dont know their cap space. Well then Rap is making it sound like the Chiefs did more digging into the situation & pulled out.
Naw, stop it. Don't believe those devils. Teams wouldn't have been interested from day 1 if something was wrong. This was simply money and range Desean was looking for.
