Desean has been on the bubble with the Eagles for awhile now. He's never been in the news for anything positive. It's really not surprising that they got rid of him. Only thing that's really interesting is that they couldn't trade him. NFL players are apparently depreciating assets like cars that lose value the moment they sign.
Far as the gang shyt, we don't know what the organization knows. After the Hernandez situation I'm sure there's a lot of players getting their files rechecked. NFL is heavily image conscious and they have their own investigative services. Wouldn't be surprised if they looked into that robbery at his house and found out Desean was doing too much.
