one thing that gets glossed over is that the eagles are now a leader-less locker room. vick is gone, they just cut avant a few weeks ago, and thats practically it. and even with those guys, they still had issues holding down the fort.

Maclin and Desean are close to a tradeoff and we added Sproles...if Foles falls off its not gonna be due to lack of weapons. But its not likely he'll put up the same numbers as last year tho, that was too outrageous.

It's hilarious reading that Chip wants all this leadership in the lockerroom etc while cutting his leaders from last year. There's no fukking way Riley Cooper is accepted on that team without Vick basically forcing everyone to drop it. This is almost like Schiano 2.0.

DJax is a major threat in the return game and averages 17.2 ypc compared to Maclin's 13.1 ypc...


I'm not saying Maclin is a scrub, he's pretty good when healthy.. But he's not in the same class as Desean...And it can be argued that a lot of his looks were a result of Desean garnering so much attention..

Jackson's speed is what made everyone be so wide open. The safeties had to bail and/or double him deep which meant Celek/Avant/Cooper had more space to operate. They won't have that anymore. No one is going to be scared of Maclin or Cooper going past them.

and he gets national tv shine for this. i think it all started when he was on "the view" or something.
