Too early to tell if what I said is wrong or not....yes Desean's obviously better than Maclin. But Maclin could put up 1000 yards in Chip's system if healthy. And Sproles will take over the majority of return duties. So overall its not a crippling loss for the offense. If things don't pan out next season then I'll happily take the L

you aint say anything dumb...the offense will be FINE!!! Desean is a very good WR not GREAT..he is overrated- always has been always will be. Desean doesnt fit what Chip "ideally" wants to do offensively. If anyone studies Chips approach, he wants versatility at ALL positions. Desean is great at stretching the field with his speed.... and he is the biggest "deep threat" in the NFL- but thats where it ends. He cant go over the middle so that eliminates many of the crossing patterns he wants to run. Desean doesnt block well which is key in the run game for Chip ( and was a major reason they resign Riley the Racist) Because Desean is skinny as shyt- he doesnt have the upper body strength to combat press man ( hence Chip desire for bigger strong WR and an infusion of TE as WR...Ertz will beast in 2014...guaranteed) Chip tried some backfield trickery and ...it failed.

I was pissed that they cut Desean and couldnt get a draft pick but then I remembered...he is slated to make 10M a year..who the hell is going to trade you someone for a limited WR making 10M ( if he was Megatron or Thomas in Denver yes...but desean isnt either of dem boys)

lets just worry about the defense because the O will score

But I'd add that we were pretty healthy last year and also caught a few breaks so we gotta hope those two things stay in it favor

We could fall in the range of 12-4 (best case) to 8-8 or 7-9 (worse case)

So most likely we'll land at prolly 10-6 or 9-7 div win
