Smartest GM in the league paying an elite RB (again). The last couple years have been rough for the most annoying (white) analytic nerds in football.
Elite players are elite players. You can't replace an elite CB with a random 5th round CB in the draft so why would the same apply to RB lol. Yet this is the logic that a lot of (white) nerds adhere to. And they've been giddy as fukk about it until Jahmyr and Bijan showed up and balled the fukk out. Now with Henry and Saquon going to great teams (with great o-lines) and dominating, the answer is clear. A special or elite RB can elevate a team that has a good-to-great offensive line.
