It's crazy how fast everything fell apart for the Eagles. They went from one of the best well run organizations to one of the most dysfunctional organizations in just two years.
I'm not sure why we believe that a coach is the reason Wentz went out there and played like shyt. I haven't seen any evidence that in 2020, Wentz is the better player, but I guess time will tell.
Victims of success, the coaching staff got raided after the Super Bowl and Doug couldn't quite rebuild it as things slowly trended downward before bottoming out this season. His pitch to fix things was nothing but in-house promotions from a trash staff, it was destined to fail. It's tough to make emotional decisions but it really was best for both sides to start fresh.
Yikes. Most new coaches would at least want a true open competition if not outright go with Jalen as the starter in training camp.
look at his overall body of work he's a top 10 QB that had a horrible yr...mainly due to his HC who couldn't gameplan or playcall effectively
Not sure why they fired him. But when I look at my Bengals staying loyal to a coach who hasn’t won 6 games Over 2 seasons. He seemed like a good coach.
Real interesting. Thought he'd get at least one more year but if he bumping heads with management From the Eagles thread I frequently visited (one of the better team threads on here. Shoutout to my guyz especially @patscorpio ) Doug was washed, done, and a terrible playcaller. So Eagles might not be losing much at all. Whole team is a clusterfukk tho from top to bottom.
