Eagles Going After Mariota

It's the only place he has a chance at success. His college success was based mainly on gimmicks and trickeration and all that nonsense. That's why neither Oregon nor Chip Kelly will ever win a championship. It's not real football. If they're not beating you to the line of scrimmage or deceiving you, they can't win.

Mariota is great at snapping the ball when the defense isn't ready and hitting wide open stationary receivers. Good luck in the NFL with that fake shyt. Plus he's paper thin and likes to run. Not a good combo.

I think if they can get Mariotta without giving up shady that is going to be HUGE...

Even though shady numbers fell off this year he is still the "type" of back you need for this system...

And you sure as hell can't give his touches to sproles for an entire season...

And a big bruising down hill back won't work in this offense where they run a lot of stretch plays...

So if they give up Shady and get Mariotta...then they got to go find a running back like shady...

I would say running backs are replaceable...EXCEPT for shady in that eagles system...they have to get a running back with his skill set...

if after trading Lesean they could orchestrate a trade for CJ Spiller and pray that it works then that would be something. But man..if they gotta let go of Fletcher Cox i'll be torn

Very Very Very true. Only threat would be the Texans but I dont think they'd want that type of QB.

Hopefully Winston can go #1 and Tennessee uses Mettenberger nexdt year. If thats the case a trade ahead the Rams should be sufficient.

I can see this happening if they can get a back like shady...

But no for this type of offense they won't just outright cut him...you can't just plug any back into this offense like you can in about 80% of the other offenses in the NFL
