A true legend in the history of sports. I'm actually mad at myself for not knowing who the first black player in the nba was. Especially because of how many I know today. Without him trees no saying if we would have a Jordan or a Kobe or a LeBron, etc. Rest In Peace, King.

RIP to a true pioneer and trailblazer. It's kind of sad Earl Lloyd isn't up there with Jackie Robinson (or Fleetwood Walker) as a notable pioneer for his sport. I understand why though with baseball being the biggest sport but Lloyd (and the other black players that season aswell) accomplishments were just as ground breaking.
