That soulful, no drums wave is my shyt. Him spending so much time with Knxwledge and SLUMS NYC did so much for his growth as an artist
Yea him and Knx really on the same wavelength and i feel he had to get away from tylers beats and the Odd Future shadow to really branch out. NYC made him more well rounded plus i think hes always been a east coast rap fan just like Tyler.
You should listen to some of their redbull radio shows on youtube.
Too much focus on atmospheric production. Mostly lazy rapping for Earl Sweatshirt, imo. But it's just 7 track throwaway project. As long as he doesn't bring this type of energy to his next album. About to go listen to his albums again.

I decided to listen to this today since it was the five year anniversary of I don't like shyt I don't go outside yesterday and I never heard this. IMO MTOMB is the best song on here imo but I don't know what he was thinking with this shyt. It was a major step back after he released Some Rap Songs
