This is not bad either, but I don't know what happened between his first 2 and these last 2 projects. Maybe he had a bad acid trip or something. Also he should stop talking about his absent father on every track and find a therapist to talk to about that shyt.

One of the few negative points with this whole new wave of rappers is their work is effortless at times. Two minute, rambling verses with no song structure. They're all guilty of it.

I can’t believe people in here actually think Earl is “trying to hard” or “trying to be different” in his music

He obviously doesn’t care as much about the content he puts out

East is clearly a joke. Even though it’s Earl doing what he wants not caring what critics even say. He made it a video/single for a reason

I doubt he’s even rapping to make money at this point

I don’t think he’s bored with rap as a art form but bored with the industry and how the rap scene is today. Like he doesn’t wanna be part of it

I think he’s too smart to rap about the things he used to and that odd future era is over

Even Tyler doesn’t make the same music

I'm going back to SRS right now and I appreciate it even more. Maybe in some weirdly strategic way he's making each project more abstract than the last so you go back.
