Whoever said Earl isn't saying anything really needs to peep the written out lyrics. It's not "just rhymes about nothing" or "just an English lesson", each verse is thematically coherent. V1 is some braggadocio **** about how he's a monster and critics and fans don't appreciate him enough. V2 is describing the everyday lives of different people in the 'hood and reflecting on how he provides the soundtrack for these scenes. And then some more braggadocio ****.

Topically, his lyrics are just as "real" as the next man's, and just as structured, if not more. It only seems random and haphazard because of the weird rhymes and unorthodox rhyme schemes.

it aint even all that, most of these nikkas just have the attention span of grade schoolers and can't string together words/imagery longer than 5 seconds without gettin bored :manny:

or maybe i've listened to so much doom that the style doesn't go over my head like it used to

inb4 some nikka thinks i was talking to him specifically and calls it a shot :lupe:

Some of you cats sound border line illiterate. Talking about it doesn't make sense....it's not even some crazy complicated shyt. If you actually listen to what he's saying it's pretty straight forward.

And for the record I don't mean if you don't like the song. I'm talking specifically about the people sitting there looking like cavemen :dwillhuh: at these straight forward ass bars. Step your brain up people.

Track is bananas. :leon:

I don't even really care id Earl raps about nothing as long as the production is potent.

I just hope he chills on Tyler's elevator muzak beats.

Only part of the song that was straight forward was the vince staples verse. Earl was stringing together a bunch of words in a format too choppy to even appreciate.

Edit: Listened again and the 2nd verse from Earl is more comprehensible but the first one is trash

Da fukk is this shyt?:what:

Is this the same thing where nikkas were trollin and acting like Lil B was good?

This is just stream of consciousness rap. Ive never understood it to be honest (not that I dont understand what they're saying just what's so likable about it), I guess they have some decent wordplay, multis and interesting rhyme structure or whatever but I dont think shyt is that difficult when your just rhyming any word in the english language with each other
