it's been stated that artists only get bread for like 10 songs on their albums, anything over that is basically a freebie

i give it a solid 8, straight spitness on this album
literally almost every line he's doing something dope with it, gotta hit that rewind button constantly which is the type of shist i likedroping a dark album during spring is kind of weird but it makes it stand out from everything else imo

My complete thoughts on it.
I really dug the album.
I give it somewhere between a 7.5 to 8 out of 10 after a couple of spins.
Pros:
Livelier flows out of Earl. Flow on DNA was absolutely wicked.
Gritty, lo-fi atmosphere that goes well with Earl's tone and lyric choices. He pretty much produced the whole thing which is a big risky leap for him as an artist but it really worked.
Excellent lyricism, as usual. Lines like "Fishy ni**as think they eatin' offa hooks" and "Fifties in my pocket fallin' out like fukkin' baby teeth."
That Vince feature.
Cons:
Its very short. However had it been much longer it probably would've tired itself out.
While the production kept the atmosphere, it felt a little predictable at times. The beatswap on AM//Radio was great and my personal favorite beat was Huey.
Lack of OF features. Earl can certainly carry himself but a great Earl album without a Tyler feature or a Frank feature is like a storebought pie for dessert after a lobster dinner.

I just don't understand why the hell you wouldn't.
Is it necessary to dry off after you get out of the pool and before you go running through your air-conditioned house? No. But why be so cold? Why get the floor wet?
