So essentially only the top 2 vote getters matter...

I'm confused

Teams will be selected the same as usual

12 players from the East, 12 players from the West. 5 starters voted by fans/players/media, 7 reserves voted by coaches

The two leading votegetters in each conference will be captains. They'll choose from the starters, then they'll choose from the reserves

naw i think the pool is created the same way then the top 2 pick. coaches still select and everything , only difference is players pick from that group

Coaches pick bench based on conference

Top East votegetter and top West votegetter draft teams out of that pool of selected all-stars
