I'm with you that real events are frequently used for nefarious aims. The greatest solutions to that are vigilance, exposure of truth, and dispersion of power. But we could be vigilant and expose the truth and still be completely ignored by the people we need to hear us if we've been spouting bullshyt.I'd just like to point something out. Im a conspiracy theorist too (which is why i tend to dap both sides of an argument). Imo, the real conspiracy theory here isn't the virus itself. It exists, ppl are catching it, it is what it is, preppers and several other conspiracy theorists subsets been predicting something like this for decades.
The conspiracy here is how this event will be used. Agenda 21, Georgia Guidestones, Bill Gates, microchips inside forced (see: Manufactured Consent) vaccinations, 'mark of the beast', that kinda shyt.
I almost feel like the 'melanin will protect you' thing was a psyop meant to lull us. Consider: If 'they' really do have a de population plan, the entire African diaspora would probably be at the top of the list. If 'they' really did engineer this virus, it would be mighty convenient to lull us into complacency and let it wipe us out, oopsie, plausible deniability.

@Everythingg and @thekingsmen can't expose real conspiracies because they're illogical and have no connection to truth. The "human rulers were secret half-reptilian beings which are now invisible entities" is the stupidest conspiracy theory ever, and they latch onto it. If they can't discern truth from fiction on that shyt, how will they ever get anything right? And even if they did get something right by blind luck, who would trust them?
We need vigilant, distrustful people who USE THEIR MINDS and SEEK OUT TRUTH. People who can expose PRISM, the Iraq War lies, the Contra drug sellers, who really killed Bobby Kennedy, COINTELPRO, and all that shyt. Not people who don't believe dinosaurs existed or who think literally every mass shooting and terrorist attack is part of a secret government conspiracy.

Im not getting into your personal beef. Im pushing back against the blanket dismissal of conspiracy theorists i been seeing around here in the past few days. I saw an article in the daily news about how nyc 'conspiracy theorist weirdos' were the only ones prepared for the pandemic: NY Daily News - We are currently unavailable in your region. I find that to be true in my own life. I told my man years ago what was coming and he saw it too, so we started prepping and organizing our lives and finances to do the no neighbors for miles thing. We already had food and water for months. I'm in the process of reducing our dependence on supermarkets, and right on time too, considering recent events in my region.
I say all that to say, the field of "conspiracy theory" is comprised of more than David Icke's reptilians.
It's a broad umbrella and some of us have been absolutely right the whole time and therefore don't appreciate being broadly conflated with fringe theories.
How about not trying to illegally detain people without any evidence of a crime? Indefinite detention up to 1 after a national emergency without a trial? Etc etc. Name me legislation Obama tried to use to grab power while imprisoning Americans without trials indefinitely.
