Early Destiny Impressions.

i dropped in there to see some impressions or w/e a day ago to see if its worth copping and got nothing but circle jerking about how great it was with no actual input and nikkas talking about co-op, hardly someting you can base a blind purchase off of.

Nah. It's a amazing co-op shooter with some fun online mixed in. It's hard to explain, you gotta try it.

Yes. It's exactly like that.

I didn't like Borderlands when it dropped, so I was skeptical on this game when I first saw it. But the beta sold me on it, but I'm a big PVP player. If you're into competitive multiplayer modes in FPS games this game is for you. If you're big fan of Borderlands you'll like the co-op.

It's different from most FPS because of the customization options and the social aspect of the game. You really have to squad up to beat some missions, and a lot of times your Fireteam leads into multiplayer matches. The game really blends both modes well IMO, I'm enjoying it, but again I'm in to shooters like that.

It's more of an exploration kind of game.

You ever play the Metroid games on Gamecube? Or Borderlands? It's kind of like that for co-op...

IDK. I said before release that this game would be extremely polarizing. Either you appreciate/enjoy it or you dismiss it. But too say its shallow or low on content, from someone who religiously capes for TF nonetheless, is bullshyt. There is nothing revolutionary about the gameplay. Not at all. Its a straight shooter. But everything that surrounds the core gameplay is excellent. I'm learning different aspects of the game each time I fire it up

That's probably the worst comment I've seen while discussing this game. (about TitanFall "delivering" more than Destiny)

No one ever claimed that the story in titanfall wasn't shallow or that it wasn't low on content.

Those criticisms are valid for both games.

Its sign of weakness to keep trying to attack people instead of addressing what's being said.

I think the game feels great. But it's some design choices that turn me and some others away.

for me it depends on the statement. I expect the devs to be honest and accurate if they're talking about something quantifiable, like 'resolution'. but beyond that I only expect them to publically say overly-positive things about their game

Yeah, what dev gonna be like, "yeah...we made this game kinda shytty and underwhelming. Please by it en masse anywayz".

they should have made it for PC only console gamers just don't get MMOs the game starts at max level grind is a big part of a MMO
