Dude has the Lauryn Hill syndrome, the pressure has stunned their talent

I don't think Lauryn has social anxiety. Messing around with that Marley dude, getting knocked up several times and never getting a commitment from him really fukked with her mind.

Andre's situation is different. The social anxiety appears to have caused him to become a recluse on some Howard Hughes shyt.

I agree but both have a lot of pressure because of their talent level, pure artists just want to create but the business side is fukking them

That's true. The aggressive touring schedule and public appearances were definitely not going to gel with Andre's increasing social anxiety. So from that perspective, the business side definitely pushed him over the edge.

While Big Boi embraced that type of exposure, Andre was crushed by it. That split was inevitable.

It sounds like both of his parents dying so quickly impacted him in a way that he's yet to fully address.

Dude just appears to be running away from reality with no destination in sight.

That's the sad part of it all. :mjcry:

Talent aside, I actually think he needs some help. Like professional help.

Andre, Kanye and Lauryn need help.

This is a really good read. :wow:

Daps and rep, OP

The part where he's saying that he was getting nervous and paranoid all the time cause he was feeling that all eyes are on him and how he went through a period where he would almost have panic attacks meeting new ppl...

That would be me. If I was famous, that would be the part that would make me crack.

Like Kanye said in the Confessions pt 2 remix... "man you famous, you can't go nowhere..."

It's like my dude... sometimes you just wanna chill. That's why whenever I meet celebs, I treat them like they nobody. One time this huge Celeb worth $500 million called and wanted to talk to me....

I made dude wait till I got off work. :bryan:

His ppl were blowing up my phone with texts talking about, "he really wants to talk right now. Can you talk for just a few min?"

I was like, sure... after work :umad:

Anyway... Even the part where Dre talks about never having to write a check except for one time in his life before he became famous.... dude doesn't have to pay ANY bills :wow:

Can you imagine that?

It was a great interview. I wouldn't have expected a recluse like Andre to share that much information in an interview.

He makes a good point when he talks about your development kinda stopping at the age at which you blow up.

...I mean, since age 17 people have catered to me and Big Boi. It’s strange when, your whole life, everyone has treated you different from everybody else. They say that if you’re an entertainer, whatever time you took off, you stay that age. I was 17.

In many ways, 3000 is still that 17-year-old kid, mentally.

Same with Michael Jackson. He blew up as a pre-teen and was essentially that same person at 50.

I miss Andre 3000

Now Suzy Skrew had a partner named Sasha, Thumper
I remember her number like the summer
When her and Suzy yeah they threw a slumber
Party but you can not call it that cause it was slummer
Well it was more like spend the night
Three in the morning yawning dancing under street lights
We chilling like a villain and a nikka feeling right
In the middle of the ghetto on the curb, but in spite
All of the bullshyt we on our back staring at the stars above (aww man)
Talking bout what we gonna be when we grow up
I said what you wanna be, she said, "Alive"
It made me think for a minute, then looked in her eyes
I coulda died, time went on, I got grown
Rhyme got strong, mind got blown, I came back home
To find lil' Sasha was gone
Her mamma said she with a nikka that be treating her wrong
I kept on singing my song and hoping at a show
That I would one day see her standing in the front row
But two weeks later she got found in the back of a school
With a needle in her arm, baby two months due, Sasha Thumper

:mjcry::wow:
