About to play ff6 for the first time, I'm like an hour in and idk the graphics and animations compared to chrono trigger is killing it for me. Other than its cool so far, I'm just waiting for it to start picking up

Been wanting to get a SNES just to revisit the back catalog. Heard a lot of great things about Earthbound.
Really been wanting to revisit late 80s and 90s media for my writing.

Took me forever to beat this game. I finally ran through it like two years ago. I kept getting stuck in that desert area with the outrageous backtracking. Great game, nearly a classic but some of the later game stuff is not as memorable as the beginning. The beginning up to Fourside is like playing a Ghibli movie. Instantly iconic music, enemies, and writing.

I’m playing Mother 3 now on Afterplay. Great cloud/browser emulator imo, especially if you want to play on multiple handheld devices, all you need is a browser (and the ROM obv). No lag when doing the rhythm hits either.

Only game that comes close is Undertale imo. I’m not mad at the lack of a localization or additional sequels, but they could at least try a spiritual successor with a new developer. There’s no modern game like this.

lol are you talking about the caves in the desert? where you gotta feed the mice or whatever

that part drove me nuts. ended up using a walkthrough
