Humanity
when precious metals become scarce is when shyt will get real.
we will always have the same amount of water on Earth...it may be in a different form (ice, vapor, liquid) but we can still get it.
now things like lithiumm, gold, silver, rare earth metals...then we have problems.

it's inevitable that we will run out of this stuff unless we start getting it from off planet.

There is fukkery in the ranks....like when was the last time a prominent environmentalist group mentioned Fukushima...hell half of the largest ones still promote nooklear power....:francis:. Most of those are in the Democratic party right?

Uh, Fukushima is a REALLY bad example. There's like 1000 times more death and illness every year from the pollution coming out of coal and oil power plants. Fukushima is a good sensationalism example, not much of an environmental issue compared to a million other things going on.

I ain't a big nuclear power stan because I think our issue is overconsumption, not a technical solution. But I ain't fighting it either. There's a lot worse shyt going on on the daily.

They're measuring how much air we use:wtf:

:ehh: thats not the unbeleivable part...There has been reliable data on oxygen use of human beings since the early part of the last century bruh...where the problem with this article lies is how they calculated HOW much is available on earth and how much of that we are using compared to other organisms
The biggest consumers of oxygen on the planet are probably aquatic microbes anyway and there is no real way to determine how much they are using since that also depends on sunshine and nutrients in the water.

and this ignores the fact that the oxygen cycle is itself very dynamic since plants keep producing more of it everyday ...and the more carbon dioxide they get the better that plants grow so more CO2 doesnt necessarily mean less O2

i suspect theres alot of bad estimates in this study but thats hardly surprising..environmental radicals hate human beings

articles like this should be taken with a huge grain of salt. how did they even measure this and what metrics did they use to come up with this

In the Silver Lining

Well the reason, why I can't just put my faith in Republican party either is because they want to develop and exploit resources, till there is nothing left, and use libertarian free market philiosophy as their shield...:snoop:...they got nothing to say when the water is undrinkable.

This is why I can't promote either party on some zombie like steeze. We are destroying our natural environment, because the industrial paradigm as far as raw materials hasn't changed in 100 years. It's not by accident. We have the technology to not be over exploiting our resources though, but the term "disruptive technology" has been the overarching feauture of keeping the status quo. Shiit is breaking through though. S. Korea is working with an international team to commercialize cold fusion?? based generators that will not cause nooklear winter and make the land uninhabitable if they break down.

:umad: 88 negging me with aliases

What i said is 100% FACT..and ill repeat it again .."new age" environmentalism is a war on the poor

poor people spend 40-50% of their disposable incomes on Energy...heating,cooling and Transportation...they are the ones who own older inefficient cars, live in older homes with inefficient heaters and no solar panels on the roof..these are the people who take it in the shorts when the price of energy goes up and "carbon" taxes raise the prices of the basic commodities they buy.

Wealthy people spend 2-5% on energy live in 98% efficient homes with smart thermostats, high efficiency geo thermal heating and cooling, tankless water heaters ... Teslas / Hybrids parked outside ..solar panels on top ... so theyre the ones eating that "green money" and tax credits from the government for reducing their already small carbon footprint

:sas2: prove that im wrong...ill wait
