EA's April Fool's Joke on Wii U Owners

Just to prove they are "A" Class a$$holeS...

EA has officially apologized for a what it has judged to be a couple of mean-spirited April Fools' jokes at Nintendo's expense, tweeted out by its proprietary video game engine Frostbite.

The tweets, which have since been deleted, came from Frostbite's official account and ridiculed the Wii U for being underpowered.

"Good news, we have finally fixed and optimized our 'netcode'. Uses quantum entanglement for Zero Latency connections. Exclusively on #WiiU."

"Frostbite will power #HalfLife 3, coming out summer 2014! #WiiU exclusive."

"Frostbite now runs on the #WiiU since it is the most powerful Gen4 platform, our renderer is now optomized for Mario and Zelda."

It appears EA didn't see the funny side. Not only were the tweets taken down, but EA's Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore apologized from his personal Twitter account, calling them "unaccepteable" and "stupid."

I will continue my boycott of EA. Wii U owners don't deserve this shyt brehs. Even on April Fool's Day.

yup.....there handhelds will always sell, and they have enough money to bomb,a few times if need be(cant call the OG Wii a bomb), unlike what happened to Sega, where they kept tricking gamers for 3/4 systems and "upgrades". Nintendo's still straight

That 3DS is the best thing I have bought from them in a long time. I've been on Fire Emblem and Bravely Default for the past two months. But think about all that money they made off the NES, SNES, hell the N64!? Back when they were charging 40.99 for OG Zelda? LOL

they prob made enough money off that Zelda game and its re-releases to launch 4 consoles that dont make them a dime
