Timbs were popular on the east coast meaning NYC & NJ hoods. They didnt explode until Juice movie and Epmd REdman and Das EFX all blew up in 1992 popularizing the hoodie baggie work jeans and jackets and timbs look.





These happened pretty much together and there were so many real street dudes and rappers on that Juice set that the clothes and lingo was on point for that era. Pac was rolling heavy with Treach and NJ and Queens dudes at the time.

The constructs was dope but nothing beat this look in the fall and winter:
