other coasts don't really make hip hop. Just some sorta struggle mix of rapping and dated genres. Turning the clock back instead of moving it forward


The funny thing is.... when you're young and have questionable taste, you dikkride whatever's hot and easy to get into. For me, it was West Coast shyt. Maybe now it's Southern shyt. Either way, you mature, start to feel music more and then you realize that the East Coast is so far ahead of this shyt it's not even funny.

Hip hop at its core is so east-coast centric. You can be in your feelings and make threads but it is what it is.
