The main problem is the front offices of the east teams compared to the west. The majority of the teams in the east have bad GMs. They can't draft good talent and they usually overpay for average talent that kills their capspace.

What's crazy is the GM's that end up getting fired from these teams usually end up getting another shot a being a GM for another team. These owners have got to stop giving most of these GM's second chances.
