He won it, the next year he would've won it again if Lebron didnt have a historic season. I think he probably should have won in 06' but they only won 46 games, when 50 seems to be the benchmark. The problem is Prime Kobe was never really in a position to rack of MVP's because of Alot of different factors. Like playing with shaq from 01-04, which hurt both their cases(Shaq 01' and Kobe 2003). And when he had his best statiscal seasons of 2006/2007(and was far and away the best player) he had one of if not the worst supporting cast in the League
