I'm not trumping up the West in fact my argument was literally it doesn't matter about 1-8 when talking about the competition for an elite team. The fact that the West has 3 elite teams compared to the Easts 1, makes the road tougher

As for regular season match ups . I honestly don't care. OKC just lost 3 straight games to GSW and I recall the bulls dominating Lebron and Miami then getting swept. The playoffs are completely different

So the Warriors has one tough matchup on the road to the finals compared to the Cavs zero. That's the premise of this 29+ page thread????

That's the only real metric we have to prove any of this.

Only thing you are using to back up your position is you repeating it over and over again.

Atlanta had the best defense IN THE LEAGUE this year. Not just on the west. But then when the cavs beat them all of a sudden they aren't that good.:francis:

I know the spurs are better defensively without checking

Here you go continuously bringing up season stats again. How good was that defense when Cle was setting 3 pt FG records against them? Not a single person believed they would give Cle any problems on the playoffs. Hell they were much better last year and got swept by a depleted cavs teams

Spurs 67 win season didn't mean shyt, they beat a D league Memphis team and lost fairly handily to OKC. Fraud fraud fraud. Right?

The same people that picked Miami to lose to Boston & Chicago in 2011, Indiana & Boston in 2012, Indiana in 2013 & 2014 and the Cavs to lose to Atlanta last year now says Lebron has had "zero" eastern competition. The hatred, envy, and jealousy making y'all look dumb as fukk

Don't forget everyone being 100% sure the Knicks would beat them halfway through 2012-13

In 95 the Spurs had the best record in the league. They're starting backcourt was Avery Johnson and Vinny Del Negro.
:martin:

LOL! The spurs had the league mvp but i'll guess the 09 cavs who had a starting back court of delonte west and mo williams were killers right :mjlol:

guess what, the cavs had the league mvp as well.

guess what, they make their teammates better

The Heat were the favorites against the Celtics but you're right about the Bulls. That's because bosh struggled in the regular season and then turned into David Robinson in that bulls series.

Everybody knew that the heat were going to the Finals in 2012 once rose went down.

@Gravity you needa go ahead and take this man's advice.
Smits would give this Raptors team WORK. average 30-15 for the series. You cats need to stop propping up this Raptors squad. They have a couple solid guards and nothing else.
Do you even watch Smits in the late 90s? He wouldn't even average those #s against the 76ers of today. Why y'all nikkas always have to exaggerate shyt?

But we not talking about who can beat who tho(or at least I am) you are just reaching and seemingly desperate to have the last word no matter what. This is quite sad
But that's what I was talking about when you decided to come in and said "the 80s Mavs? :snoop: "

I said he Mavs were better. You jumped in that conversation and now are saying "but we are not talking about who could beat each other" in a conversation I WAS HAVING saying who would beat each other.

Your points are ass

I was specifically responding to someone who said the Derozan and Lowry wouldn't start for some teams in the 90s.:aicmon:

49ers..Braves..Celtics
i was just bout to say somethin similiar nikkas let these nikkas off the hook cuz they only using the cavs as the bar...what these other east playoff teams this year doing against these 90's playoff teams ? toronto/ATL/Cha/Ind would get blazed up by anybody

Kemba is my dude but that is all the Hornets had. their entire offense was give it to Kemba and pray for miracles. YET this was one of the better teams in the East. nikkas like Jeremy Lin were key contributors to that squad lol.

Now these a$$holes are trying to tell me that this Hornets team would beat the 90s Knicks or Pacers or Heat or Magic? HAHAHHA
