I've said it many times on here, of the top 15 players in the league, Paul George is the only one in the East who doesn't play on the Cavs. The elite talent of the league resides in the West. Nobody in the East can compete.

The league needs to adopt a 1-16 playoff format. In modern times, with all the time off between games, it's more than feasible. The final four right now should be GS, OKC, Cleveland and San Antonio.

I would at least make all division winners get a spot, but after that....best records.

This Cavs team aren't either version of Mike's 3peat Bulls for obvious reasons and you just illustrated why it's not the same. The Knicks challenged them and the pacers challenged them. This Cavs team has yet to break a sweat against the trash in the East since Lebron came back.
