who gives a fukk about steve smith? larry johnson. miller, etc. their teams didnt do shyt in the jordan era, ever. what makes them great teams? steve smith. LOL. who was he scaring exactly?
this is just ignorance. No one said that they were "great"...but they were competitive, and they had competitive role players led by all-stars. Why are you struggling to understand that?

I'll chalk it up to age.

BTW i'm still waiting for the list f players in the East today that can compete with the all-stars i've listed

A mavs team that made the WCF once in the 80s is memorable? A bucks team with Sidney Montiecriff is memorable? More so the Ewing/Starks? Playoff Miller? I doubt it. Thats not even the point tho. Simple fact is the EC teams of the Jordan Era were much better then today. An 8th seed Heat team would give the cavs problems
I said they were BETTER than those tash 90s teams.

You used the "memorable" goal post moving angle.

:mjlol:

fukk outta here.

Why don't you argue that the 90s Knicks were BETTER than the 80s :snoop: :snoop: Mavs? Guess what....YOU CANT

who cant compete with mark jackson and steve smith? who cant bang on the blocks with dale davis or rik smits? smith was an all star one year. who gives a shyt? last years hawks teams obliterate those average ass teams in the 90s like the pacers, knicks, or whoever else aside from the bulls or the shaq magic. this years cavs team it would look like tonights game 4 times vs those squads

The poster that you're talking to is simply out of his mind.

The East back in the 90s was far more competitive. It isn't even close.

Jordan went up against...the Knicks

Ewing, Starks, Mason, Charles Oakley, Derek harper etc

The Pacers

Mark Jackson, Dale Davis, Antonio Davis, Rik Smits and Reggie Miller

Orlando

Shaq, Penny, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Scott Skiles

Charlotte Hornets with

Zo, Larry Johnson, Mugsy Bogues, Kendall Gill, Dell Curry etc etc

the Hawks with

D Wilkins, Steve Smith, Mookie Blaylock, Stacey Augman, Kevin Willis etc etc

On any given year in the early -mid 90s that was the rotation of competition in the East...It aint even close :wow:

Any one of those teams back then could win the East in this day and age..
Namedropping ass nikkas :snoop:

Just look at those Knicks teams...

Outside of Patrick Ewing, who by the way is probably one of the worst closers for an All-Time great ever.

Harper | great player in the 80's :flabbynsick:
Starks | inconsistent comparable to J.R. Smith
Mason | versatile, Draymond Green without the J
Oakley | tough, enforcer, 15 foot jumper comparable to Indiana-era David West

Ewing had no one who could take the ppressue off him. Put shyt in perspective.

Same guy that couldn't average 10 rbds against a prime luc longley...:mjlol:
Remember when they had to get in off the court when he became a defensive liability? I can imagine how teams would abuse Smits of forcing his slow footed ass to defend outside the blocks.

The 90s Pacers were ordinary and accessories to MJs crimes.

Stop arguing for that ordinary ass team.
How come i dont hear you touch on the weak western conference your lakers feasted on in the 80s. Thry dominated the west more than the bulls dominated the east which isnt nearly as bad as u try to make it seem

Nope the teams in the East today are just weaker...just own up to it lol

Lebron is a great player, but the Cavs are playing in a handicapped Eastern conference compared to the 90s...it is what it is.

It's all speculation, but there is no way, today's Cavs steam roll undefeated through the 90s Eastern Conference.

BTW, where are your players of today to compare to Reggie Miller, Shaq, Ewing, LJ, Zo,Penny and the other nightly competition faced by MJ?

Where are they?

All you're coming up with is Paul George?:mjlol:
