Could it be because the West teams as a group, seem to always win the matchup against East teams as a group?
Could it be because 3 of the top 4 teams are in the West?

I also do not believe that the Cavs sweep the Clippers unless they lose Paul/Griffin during the series.

They probably would've had a better record than GSW if they played the exact same schedule honestly.

But what would happen if GS played the Pistons/Raptors/Hawks?

Not saying either path is amazingly tough, but I'd take going through those eastern teams over OKC/Portland/Houston.

If Danny Change can get Larry to take that 3rd pick and a piece for Paul George and they can get Whiteside to come to Boston that team would have next.

The problem is the Cavs players outside of Bron are young, the teams that have next (Bucks, Wiz, Pistons, Celtics) are a few years and a few pieces away. The Bucks could emerge as a contender by next year if they play this right, but they wont have the experience to challenge the Cavs in the playoffs. The Pistons need a few more pieces, but they've apparently been the Cavs toughest opponent so far.


The Bucks are the only ones with what could be a top 5 player in Giannis, but he's just too young. Bron honestly played this to perfection, his squad is young enough that when he starts to taper off they still should be good enough to be there every year for the next 3-4 years.
