Nothing glamorous about it just animals doing what they need in order to survive. It looks savage to us but most of the time prey animals go into a state of shock which allows them to feel no pain when being killed. Also most predators ensure their prey is fully dead before eating them. Nature is a lot more humane than we think.

I do like the way the lioness kept slapping the hyenas though. But she had no real authority apparently.
Watching this is the true epitome of what we call wild animals.

Male lion be living the lifestyle. After they become leader of their pride, they sleep like 18 hrs a day. They only get up to fukk or eat. And by eat I mean take their fill of whatever the lionesses kill
The respect they command is just some of the most alpha shyt in the worlds existence. I love silverback gorillas and bengal tigers, black panthers, wolves... elephants. But when that alpha male lion come through like the ruff ryders anthem in the summer of 98 on dirt bikes clearing out whole swathes of the jungle... that energy DIFFERENT

Nah it’s the opposite. Most prey get started out eatened alive and then eventually die from blood loss

No microwaves over there so better start feasting while the body still warm and juicy..that oxygenated blood with a touch of deoxygenated blood produces that spicy flavour.
Always thought it was the former since the predator wouldn't want to get injured itself in the process. One kick from a zebra or buffalo can take you out the game.
